The uber talented Dina Haddad wrote, sang, danced her PhD for the global competition Dance Your PhD run by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)! I got to help shoot a part of the video and piece it together. Specifically: The video section 1:05-1:45 above is entirely shot, animated, and edited by yours truly!
Dina won the chemistry category of the 2026 competition: she is, aptly called, a PhDiva 💅

"I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the people who helped me bring this project to the finish line: Matthew Ellis, the ultimate ‘Assistant (to the) Director,’ who has supported me from concept creation to the final upload; djnunux, for the mysterious and masterful audio production, and Naushin (IG @naushinahmed) for her editing magic and for bringing my ideas to life so beautifully!🪄"
